All camps are open to boys, girls, and children and youth with other gender identities. Registration includes a non-refundable cancellation fee of $50. Registration closes two days prior to specified start date. A $20 discount applies when you register a second member of the family.

You can also volunteer your time and skills and earn a discount on your camper’s registration fees. Download the Volunteer Application Form.

MacKenzie Camp offers a no-questions-asked 3-tier fee structure. The Tier 1 fee is for families who wish to help cover the “hidden costs” of great camping, especially maintenance and administration. Tier 2 is the actual cost per camper of 4-5 days of programming and meals. Tier 3 is a reduced fee that we can offer thanks to donors who want as many kids as possible to experience camping.

Here’s a list of what (and what not) to bring.

  • LEADERSHIP TRAINING CAMP (ages 14-17) July 2-6 (Cost: Tier 1 $450; Tier 2 $397; Tier 3 $315) Capacity: 30 campers.
This mandatory training week for Counsellors- and Leaders-in-Training is a chance to develop leadership skills, plan activities, and learn the basics for working at MacKenzie (including climbing wall certification) while enjoying everything that camp has to offer. At week’s end, all are interviewed and their skills assessed. Depending on availability and camp needs, they may be asked to volunteer in the summer, in return for an honorarium. Check-in 9 am on July 2, departure 2-3 pm on July 6.
  • INTERMEDIATE CAMP (ages 10-13) July 9-13 (Cost: Tier 1 $450; Tier 2 $397; Tier 3 $315) Capacity: 43 campers.
What a great way to start off the summer – great fun, friends, and food, and no electronic gadgets! Check-in 2 pm on July 9, departure 2-3 pm on July 13.
  • SCIENCE CAMP (ages 10-13) July 16-20 (Cost: Tier 1 $450; Tier 2 $397; Tier 3 $315) Capacity: 43 campers.
James Murray takes campers on one scientific adventure after another: up into space (rockets, meteors, and star-gazing), back in time (going on a dig, making arrowheads), off into music (shaping sound waves, wind chimes), and away to the wilderness (nature trails and owl pellets). Plus some gold panning! Man, will this camp stretch your brain cells and your imagination! Check-in 2 pm on July 16, departure 2-3 pm on July 20.
  • TEEN CAMP (ages 13-16) July 23-27 (Cost: Tier 1 $450; Tier 2 $397; Tier 3 $315) Capacity: 43 campers.
