We’re offering a full slate of 10 summer camps in 2023. ALL CAMPS at MacKenzie are open to every gender and offer a great range of activities: canoeing on Mabel Lake, climbing wall, archery, low-ropes challenge course, crafts, wide games, hiking, and swimming. Come form friendships that will last a lifetime! Camps are available for kids and youth aged 7 through 17:

  • July 4-7: Leadership Training Camp (14-17 years)
  • July 10-14: Intermediate Camp (10-13 years)
  • July 10-14: Golf Camp (10-13 years)
  • July 17-21: Junior-Intermediate Camp 1 (7-13 years)
  • July 24-28: Junior-Intermediate Camp 2 (7-13 years)
  • July 24-28: Fly Fishing Camp (7-13 years)
  • July 31-August 4: Junior-Intermediate Camp 3 (7-13 years)
  • July 31-August 4: Art Camp (7-13 years)
  • August 8-11: Junior-Intermediate Camp 4 (7-13 years)
  • August 14-18: Teen Camp (13-16 years)

  • LEADERSHIP TRAINING CAMP (ages 14-17) July 4-7 (Cost: Tier 1 $360; Tier 2 $275) Capacity: 30 campers.
    Counsellors-in-Training (CITs) are MacKenzie Camp’s junior leaders. This mandatory training week is a chance to develop leadership skills, plan activities, and learn the basics for working at MacKenzie (including climbing wall certification) while enjoying everything that camp has to offer. At the end of the week, all campers are interviewed and their skills assessed. Depending on availability and camp needs, they may be asked to volunteer in the summer in return for an honorarium. Check-in 9 am on July 4, departure 2-3 pm on July 7.
  • INTERMEDIATE CAMP (ages 10-13) July 10-14 (Cost: Tier 1 $450; Tier 2 $360) Capacity: 31 campers.
    What a great way to start off the summer: good times, good friends, and good food. Park your apps at home – you won’t be needing them! Check-in 2 pm on July 10, departure 2-3 pm on July 14.
  • GOLF CAMP (ages 10-13) July 10-14 (Cost: Tier 1 $490; Tier 2 $400) Capacity: 12 campers.
    This camp is a great opportunity for kids aged 10-13 who love to golf. Campers will go on two out-trips to the Mabel Lake Golf Club, up their game with tips from the Club Pro, and play three holes. Note: Campers MUST supply their own clubs and bag. Check-in 2 pm on July 10, departure 2-3 pm on July 14.
  • JUNIOR-INTERMEDIATE CAMP 1 (ages 7-13) July 17-21 (Cost: Tier 1 $450; Tier 2 $360) Capacity: 43 campers.
    Junior-Intermediate camp is a chance for older and younger siblings to attend together. Great times and great memories! Check-in 2 pm on July 17, departure 2-3 pm on July 21.
  • JUNIOR-INTERMEDIATE CAMP 2 (ages 7-13) July 24-28 (Cost: Tier 1 $450; Tier 2 $360) Capacity: 31 campers.
    What’s this camp about? Having a great time, eating great food, and making new friends – with all the fresh air in the world! Check-in 2 pm on July 24, departure 2-3 pm on July 28.
  • FLY FISHING CAMP (ages 7-13) July 24-28 (Cost: Tier 1 $470; Tier 2 $380) Capacity: 12 campers
    With outdoor writer and ardent angler James Murray. Learn the where’s, why’s, and how’s of fishing. Learn to think like a fish, cast a line – and get plenty of hands-on practice. Campers are welcome to bring their own rod and reel! We have gear, if you don’t. Check-in 2 pm on July 24, departure 2-3 pm on July 28.
  • JUNIOR-INTERMEDIATE CAMP 3 (ages 7-13) July 31-August 4 (Cost: Tier 1 $450; Tier 2 $360) Capacity: 31 campers.
    Lots of fun here – swimming, canoeing, wide games, and crafts, not to mention the climbing wall and our gaga pit. Add to that great camp food and whacky campfire singalongs! Check-in 2 pm on July 31, departure 2-3 pm on August 4.
  • ART CAMP (ages 7-13) July 31-August 4 (Cost: Tier 1 $470; Tier 2 $380) Capacity: 12 campers.
    Here’s a camp in which you can really get creative. Lots of opportunities in both 2D and 3D expression – painting, craft work, and even some sculpture. Check-in 2 pm on July 31, departure 2-3 pm on August 4.
  • JUNIOR-INTERMEDIATE CAMP 4 (ages 7-13) August 8-11 (Cost: Tier 1 $360; Tier 2 $275) Capacity: 43 campers.
    Good times await you at this camp! MacKenzie’s fabulous summer staff will lead you in plenty of adventures, in the water, on the water, into the woods, and around the field. This is a great opportunity for kids new to camping, who like having an older sibling to show them the ropes. Check-in 2 pm on August 8, departure 2-3 pm on August 11.
  • TEEN CAMP (ages 13-16) August 14-18 (Cost: Tier 1 $450; Tier 2 $360) Capacity: 43 campers.
    A great week of night games, theme days, and fun activities only offered to our oldest campers. Weather permitting, there’s even an overnight canoe trip on Mabel Lake. Check-in 2 pm on August 14, departure 2-3 pm on August 18.
